Integrating Different Methods for Landslide Monitoring: The Lemonade Project

Effective monitoring of ground movements can improve the safety of mountainous regions. A joint research project by the Bruno Kessler Foundation, Eurac Research and the Austrian Institute of Interdisciplinary Mountain Research is testing a new integrated approach for landslides monitoring (http://lemonade.mountainresearch.at). The approach is based on a combination of methods, including satellite, unmanned aerial vehicle, terrestrial laser scanning and Global Navigation Satellite System. The research is funded by the Europaregion Tirol-Südtirol/Alto Adige-Trentino.
